A Meditation to Assist in Unifying the Family
The spirit of our growing family is connected through the sacred bond of universal light.
All portals of love and compassion are now fully activated between us.
The great wisdom of the elders is in alignment with the innocence of the children.
The healing of one sibling contributes to the healing of the other.
The hearts of the women are in balance with the hearts of the men.
The way of the parent is in perfect harmony with the needs of the child.
All have a place within this expanding family unit.
Each one of us is appreciated for our individual contributions and gifts, which we provide to the collective order.
We now release all that is no longer serving us within our sacred home.
All ancestral wounds of separation, disconnection, and discord are now healed within the gentle hands of spirit.
The souls that are outcast, ostracized, or defeated, are the greatest teachers within our family. They are the catalyst of growth and change.
Their sacred path causes us to face our imbedded ancestral wounds and traumas.
We now acknowledge these souls for who they truly are and honor their sacrifice in love.
We are all safe and deserving of healthy and enduring relationships.
All of us are worthy of one another and deserve to be honored for our place within this unfolding journey of life.
Regardless of outside influences, our family line is strong, secure, and enduring.
Waves of peace comfort us now, engulfing the entirety of our being,
as we embark on the realization of oneness.
In Love (A Poem )
I honor you
because I see your divinity.
I follow you
because you are deserving of devotion.
My love, rest your weary body within my swollen hands.
Amongst the piercing stars of this watchful night sky,
you are a fire set ablaze within my soul.
As your fragile limb’s drift further away into the cold grips of darkness,
I can feel your spirit growing closer to me,
like the waves of a gentle ocean reaching for the embrace of the bitter shore.
When I rest my tired eyes into the hands of evenings prayer,
I summon my tears,
but the tears will not come.
Now, you exist somewhere,
in between the turbulent desert of my broken heart and the quiet womb of eternity.
How far must I go to find you?
To part the raging Earth and the trembling stars would not be enough.
I pull the haunting melody of your essence into me,
from the loose woven seams of your fading shadow,
hoping that the song of your enduring breath,
will quietly live within me.
Acknowledging the Broken Heart
I exhale the fear of abandonment,
and inhale the freedom of vulnerability.
I exhale the pain of powerlessness,
and inhale the compassion needed to let go.
I shed the skin of this hardened vessel,
and inhale the strength to exist as I am.
Ancestors, take what is left of this broken heart,
and give it the courage to begin again.
